I want to start by thanking all our customers for their partnership this year. 2023 has been filled with many exciting projects as you’ve leaned on our global teams to help navigate not only new technologies available in the market, but also new challenges across your operations.
We’ve leveraged the latest in connectivity to solve for everything from de-manning remote sites and equipping autonomous ships, to pushing boundaries that enabled disaster response teams to communicate in real-time to save lives, and vessels to stay connected at the ends of the earth.
No matter where you’re operating, the trust you've placed in Speedcast as your technology partner means the world to us. This issue of our newsletter is one of my proudest, because it highlights many of these customer partnerships that make Speedcast who we are. Our teams have been busy this year, hosting customers across all regions and locations – covering live technology demonstrations and educational discussions, as well as important design workshop sessions to help ensure our customers are getting the most out of the connectivity solutions that we’re deploying for them.
I’m so proud of what we’ve collectively achieved with our customers throughout the year – including successfully delivering sustained 100% availability to a challenging mobile site during a multi-month trial. This was also the first official SIGMA Enterprise deployment for a customer, which delivered a single, seamless, secure WAN to automatically handle path switching for optimal network performance.
As we prepare to close out December, I’m also proud to share that we’re celebrating big milestones with Starlink this month. We’re on track to sell our 5,000th Starlink kit by the end of the year and shipments and activations aren’t far behind. We’re also expanding our stock to support growing multipath requirements after selling out the kits from our initial Starlink agreement just over a year ago. This is a tremendous feat in just over 12 months since taking on our Starlink inventory. Since then, we’ve also expanded how we offer these solutions to customers, with the launch of our new ShopSpeedcast online store, which you can learn more about in this issue.
As the leading integrator of new LEO services, we’re helping customers get the most from the latest connectivity technologies in the market, including Starlink, while also taking steps to make it even easier to access these solutions. You can learn more about how we’re doing this in our ‘Everything Starlink’ video series, which brings together our maritime, land and disaster response assessments for in-depth analysis of Starlink in different application environments.

Our customers are at the forefront of every technology assessment we conduct and every decision we make. Our team is already hard at work expanding our network management platform and solution capabilities to help you leverage all the technologies coming to market in 2024. We look forward to partnering with you in the new year to make it even better than the last. Best wishes this holiday season!
